Good Morning everyone. I'd like to introduce myself to the forum. While I'm sure this is a question presented regularly, I'm hoping others would be able to offer some guidance in terms of whether I would be able to realistically take the level 1 exam in June. First a little about myself:

I have been in the workforce for over 3 years after graduating with a Finance degree. I am currently employed at my second Investment Bank in NYC. In my first role I was a member of Financial Controllers (IBD and more specifically, M&A). In my current position, I am part of Regulatory Reporting. While I have a relatively heavy finance/accounting background, I am less familiar with the financial equations learned in school and would need to re-study the material.

At this point, 13 weeks out, I planned to study 3 hours per day (with an extra hour every weekend) to total about 300 hours. Having read the Ethics book and a small part of Financial Reporting, I understand that this will be a huge undertaking.

Well after that novel, I think I have included everything. Do you guys think I have enough time to give myself a decent shot in June? Thank you

You will have to be very focused, study during all of your free time, and the material would have to click nicely with you. Also, you will have to stick to basics and not get fancy, and hopefully get through the material in time to take some practice tests.
