i'm new to this site and to CFA. i'm graduating soon with an econ/international relations major (meaning i have very limited background on the topics). the notes on this site is huge. i printed it out from the ebook and it's prolly thicker than the CFA text. i glanced though some of it and i thought it's detailed enough. so would i still need to read the CFA 4-volume text? |

The notes on this site are good but they are not "thicker than the CFA text" - the point is the syllebus itself is HUGE, so even a concise summary seems huge. Since you have limited / no background in Accounting / Finance - I believe notes of this site or any site for that matter would be too concise for you. |
