Hi I don't have any finance background. Does anyone know if Preliminary Readings for level I in Financial Statement Analysis Economics: Private and Public are any good.... to invest in? |

You don't have a Finance Background.. but what about an Accounting Background? When do you plan sitting for Level 1 if your planning to sit for the June 06 Exam.. I'd advise NOT to read the Economics Preliminary Readings.. ECON is not a hard section to pick up on.. If you don't have an accounting background.. No Offense.. but you may get screwed.. You may be able to get through Level 1 on study notes/CFA Readings.. but Level 2 carries a lot of weight in Accounting.. So I'd suggest you pick up the preliminary Accounting Text.. Good Luck!! Don't think of yourself as to having a disadvantage b/c you don't have a finance background.. w/ hard work and effort.. anybody can get through the exams!! |

I am happy to say that I passed! Your study notes certainly helped prepare me for what was the most difficult exam I had ever taken.
