hi, i have completed my mba in marketing and currently working with an mnc bank in sales of financial products. i want to pursue cfa but just have apprehensions wether coming from a marketing background will affect my getting a job after completion of cfa. Please help |

I think it could be a good mesh, alot of corporate Sales people in my office are looking into taking CFA and I definitely know more than a few traders with a marketing background as well who've taken the CFA. The CFA shows potential employers how committed you are to the profession and helps differentiate you from other candidates. That and it's pretty much becoming a requirement. |
