Hi guys!!
Congratulations to the ones who passed and positive energy to the ones who didn't. Two questions: 1) Is the real CFA Level I exam tougher than the exams and questions on this web site? Or is it the same level? 2) I am 23 years old, sitting for the exam in houston this June and after that try to make it into Investment banking. Trading (equities or Fixed income) and M&A are my choices. Between these, what area is the most interesting for you guys with IB experience? and what is the top IB concerning working atmosphere? I love finance and i am as competitive as anyone, but I don't want to be stabbed in the back everytime i turn around. Thanks a lot |

Do not pursue CFA to break into IB. Bankers don't care too much about CFA. If you come from a target school w/ gpa you are better off networking to get into IB. If you want to get into PM or ER CFA will help you a little bit more. Good luck |
