Hi, I am planning to attend the urban planning PhD Program in the fall and I would like to focus on real estate and urban economics. But I feel like I don't have enough training in basic finances and investment background. My undergrad major is Architecture and my maters in city planning. Would you like to recommend tackling CFA level 1/2 just for purposes of filling in knowledge in finances/accounting/business? If course, it doesn't hurt to get CFA designation. I would love to pursue that one day too. But I am thinking about studying for CFA over this summer to prepare for my phd Program. Is it a good idea? Any ideas would be much appreciated! |
