Has anyone used the online exams from the CFA Institute website? If so, are they any good? |

The sample exams are quite a bit easier than mock exams here. From what I have gathered, the real thing will be tougher than this. |

I just took one of the CFA $50 exams and can only say...what an absolute rip-off! (1) each exam is only 60 questions; (2) you can't skip forward or back as you would on the real exam; (3) you're given the answer to each question immediately after you answer it...but since the whole thing is timed online, any time you spend reading the answer trying to understand anything you got wrong counts against you; and (4) I found the questions quite a bit easier than the stuff analystnotes.com has in its online mock exams (no idea which is more representative of the real thing). The only thing I can speculate is that the CFA Institute is so afraid of people copying and sharing their questions that they've decided on this amazingly inferior method of delivering the sample exams. |

Also note - CFA institute offers free sample exams in the form of past sample exams. Check out http://www.cfainstitute.org/canservices/practiceexams/ I took two of the $50 sample exams, and one of them took perhaps 75% of the questions from one of the free exams. The other had new questions. |

I have tried the free online samples on the CFA website they were not very good ... as in quite easy as compared to the Mock exams on Analyst notes. Does any body have any idea on how the real exam will be as compared to either Analyst notes or the free papers available |

I would like to see any feedback at all concerning AN mock exams level of difficulty as compared to the actual test (for anyone that has taken it) or the CFA website exams that you must pay for. Thanks! |

I found that none of the mock exams, free or not, were near as hard as the actual exam. However, the mock exams on this site were closest. |
