Hello sumit and Desaij der r few things i would like to know : 1. Wht notes r u both referring to?. I am studying from kalpan and analystnotes. 2. Can i know abt ur background?. I am Daya Bohra, am a girl..jus completed my graduation in mgnt studies i.e. BMS frm Mum Uni. Am planning to join procore coaching but would like to know abt etencfa performance.. 3. According to me we shd make a time table n study (not everyday’s but for a week). This will make us more sincere in preparing for our CFA. 4. We shd also make a habit of checking our forum everyday to be updated abt the replies and respond back asap..this will help in not wasting our time.. 5. I am interested in starting with Equity Inv. 's Org. N Fun. Of Securities Market..if u want to suggest anything else let me know.. These r my suggestions...Plz let me know ur opinions n suggestions. |

Hi, I'm in for Jun2012. I've started with econs and quant already. I'm from Iowa, US. I would love to join the study group. My thoughts are followed: We should split into smaller groups, let's say max 6 people targeting at Jun2012 exam. Each group will have specific study for each part and can specificly down to each LOS. I mean each member should be at the same pace for more convenient discussion. Eg: We can schedule 1 LOS per day and everyone follow exactly the flow. Then we can have a weekly meeting per week ( online meeting via skype) to discuss matters we're not clear together or share study tips, etc.. That's my idea. Anybody? |

Hello, I am interested in joining the group study session. But i need to get a few things clarified first. 1. Do you need a working experience to enroll for the CFA Exams? Name : Brian K City/State/Country : Hartford/CT/USA Education: Bachelors of Mechanical Engineer & Minor in Economics 05 I worked as an consulting Engineer for the past 6yrs I needed a change now I’m doing my cfa. I was going to do the Dec L1 exam, but I had a busy summer and didn’t get done as much studying as I would have liked to so now I’m doing the june L1 2012 exam. I have finished the following topics: Ethical and Professional Standards, Quantitative Methods, Economics, Financial Reporting and Analysis. I’m curently in Corporate Finance Measures of Leverage ( Reading 46 ). I hope to be finished Corporate finance in a week or two. I have been studying on my own since May of this year i have good understaing of most of the topics but it never hurts to study with a group. I like the idea of msn or skpye. hi.. one should start with FRA (financial reporting analysis) I have already started.. on income statement do as much practice on EPS (earnings per share) as possible. at least it will be some 15-20 questions on EPS alone. AN notes, CFA institute books, all important to study. |
