@2017-06-27 10:57:06		 I am a programmer with 12 Years experience in financial industry. I started reading finacial books (corporate finance, financial statements ...) since I decided to go ahead for CFA level 1 preparation. I have joined UC berkeley extentions for various courses.

I have engineering background and no finance or business background. can some one recommend me some good books to start preparing for CFA level 1 (june 2018). please advise me if any additional books that I should read along with the core material. I am currently reading "Fundamentals of Financial management" by Brigham & houston.

Please feel free to give any extra advise for the preparation.
