Am I going crazy? Does the chart on page 374 of the CFA books (vol II) contradict readings everywhere else in the econ section? It shows that a lower real interest rate causes the currency to appreciate while on page 390 it says that high real rates cause financial flows into the country causing the currency to appreciate. |
