Let say I failed twice on CFA Level 1 and I passed on my third attempt. Will there be any discriminating record on me. I am worry that my future employer know about this and look down on me. If I pass CFA Level 1, what do I get? A certificate or just a small result slip? How is my future employer verify my CFA result? Do they call CFA and give them my id number to validate my CFA result. Will CFA record, publish and inform my future/current employer about my number of CFA test failure before I pass? What does the CFA result paper show if I pass? Does it tell that I am weaker than other people who also passed the test. Thank you |

No, the CFA Institute does not reveal any info on how many tries you have attempted and the results of these tries. You are either a charterholder, or not. |

If your future employer gives you crap about failing the exam, remind them of the pass rate internationally and tell them to go take it and get back to you in six plus months!!! |

I just wanted to share the good news that I passed CFA Level I!!! Thank you for your help - I think the online question bank helped cut the clutter and made a positive difference.
