@2014-05-29 16:57:33		 I am planning to sit for L1 in December 2014. I have the CFA books and read the first page of Volume 2 ("Economics") which recommends that if one does not have a strong background in Econ or Finance that a textbook be reviewed. I am looking for recommended texts. I have never taken a course in Economics or Finance. I was able to pass my Series 3 and Series 65, however. Any suggestions for the best text to read would be appreciated!! Thanks.

I am happy to say that I passed! Your study notes certainly helped prepare me for what was the most difficult exam I had ever taken.
