I am trying to find a way to get my foot in the door for financial analyst or something that may lead to that eventually. I'm patient. Any tips would be great. I don''t have any finance "experience" besides a 1.5 year internship with a brokerage and an MBA, a program from which I recently graduated. I'm also bi-lingual. I know, it's a long shot because I didn't graduate from a target school and my undergrad was liberal arts. I'm great with math and spreadsheets though. Confident in my ability to program with VBA. Just need experience as I want to seriously be considered for even a trainee or internship position. Right now, I'm networking with everyone I know who is in brokerage or banking. Anyone ever been in this position? Any tips? Give up, kid? |
