Hi All, I am a Chemical Engineer currently working within the Biotech Industry. I have planned to apply for the CFA Level 1 exam in December. I have a very limited background in economics/accounting with some basic courses including a beginners course in corporate finance and economics for managers. I am worried about the vast curriculum of the CFA. I plan on doing an MBA in 4 years as I have recently given my GMAT. I definitely need an entry into the finance industry before my MBA to get into a good finance program and thereafter a good job in finance. Do you think this is a good strategy into getting a job in finance or do I need an MSc in finance? Thank you. |
