I am new and plan to take CFA this December. I have a BS in Finance. Would you guys give me some tips on how to prepare? What book or notes I should buy (the books recommended by CFA Institute are way too much and expensive). Thank you very much |

Undergrad in finance will only help you, so I don't see why this should be hard for you...but you have to take this exam seriously, give yourself enough time and start studying early.... Stick to your schedule, don't fall behind, and put as much time as possible to practice problems. Books would be ideal, if you can afford and have that much time. Otherwise, buy AnalystNotes and a few most important books...i suggest, if you have to choose, buy FSA, Quant, and Ethics at least. Good luck! |

I passed! I did not get a chance to tell you before the exam - but your site was excellent. I will definitely take it next year for Level II.
