How many hours/days do you think is reasonable to complete each study session of the Analyst Notes for L1? I know it varies and depends on how fast you understand the materials, but on average, how many days do you think it should take to complete each session so you have time to review and take review questions? |

I think as much time as you can devote, and achieve the maximum input + understanding. X hrs isn't possible esp if you are working full time. |

Take 300 hours and divide by the number of them, which is 18, and that's your answer (assuming you are including time to review and take review exams on each section). For me, it's one week/study session. |

It isn't as simple as 300/# of sessions. At least for me, I find that it serves me well to re-read some sessions. I set out to take two weeks to get through the FSA sessions. It took me 4 days. Granted 3 of the 4 were holiday/weekend days, but the one session I wanted to really take my time on only took me 4 days even though I methodically went through every word in that thing. As a result I find I have a little extra time on my hands. You really can't quantify timing down to that narrow of a level. Just study until you feel you know it. That is the only way to pass these exams. Your goal is to learn the material, not put in x hours reading study notes or doing exams. |

Whats the secret sauce? Is it the question bank and the motley of questions that matter or is it the time that one devotes...... Whats the secret sauce? |

depends on ure background. do a mock exam and see what you know and what you need to work on. coming from an fin/acct major undergrad, i started studying 2 weeks ago, with 6-8hrs everyday on average. |

I am using your study notes and I know of at least 5 other friends of mine who used it and passed the exam last Dec. Keep up your great work!
