Hi friends, as many of us may know, the chance of being accepted by an investment bank is rare if you are over 30 years old. Does anyone know if the same case exists in other financial institutions, such as fund management companies, insurance companies, etc?

If it is the case, what is the meaning of passing the 3 levels at the age of 30 without qualifying working experience? I mean it may even be difficult to get such experience, which is a must to earn the charter.

I am not 30 yet, but heading to it, anyone having the same worry? Any commmet or guidance is welcome.

im 22, and i doubt ill get all the exams by the time im 24, somehow. thyre pretty tough going.
seeing as you really need about 4 years work expreience and a pretty good degree/masters to attempt the CFA exams i reckon 30 is a good enough average as you can get.
