Does anyone have an idea about the number of decimal places to use on the 12C for the exam. More decimals are more accurate, but the also consume valuable exam time.

Any ideas?

I read in a guide to set it to 5, use some subjectivity though, if a question leasing uses payments of $15,000 and you need to calculate PV of the asset, you might change it to 2dp, depends how many DP's are in the answers? if it is 2 then maybe use 3 or 4. Stats I would use 5 though.

Does anyone know a good crash course for the HP 12C? I have never used one, and use mostly my scientific calculator. Also, I have the HP 12C silver anniversary edition, which has a metal plate on the back with some references for how to calculate FV, etc.... is this ok for the exam? I don't want anyone to think its some sort of cheat sheet, or get there and realize i cant use the calculator.

I am using your study notes and I know of at least 5 other friends of mine who used it and passed the exam last Dec. Keep up your great work!
