Hi guys: I am new and plan to take CFA this December. I have a BS in Finance. Would guys give me some tips on how to prepare? What kind of books I should buy (the books recommended by CFAI are way too much and expensive). Thank you very much DLMD |

I wouldn't bother buying books - the stuff the cfai force you to get has more than enough material. If you don't mind the $70 I recommend the analyst notes stuff - just read through, do the basic question, review questions and mocks - should be enough to pass level I. Or just work through the cfai stuff. |
