Hello,
for all that have gone to an interview for an entry level analyst position (at my company they call this position 'Investment Associate') I have been unfortunate to be turned down twice now because I do not have a compelling reason to move to this position. Have other people had to answer the question, 'Why do you want to become an Analyst?' if so what has worked for you. Any and all comments are welcomed.

Thank you,
N.

I'm an investment analyst as its the best way to understand the industry and build the experience and contacts needed to one day open my own asset management company.

It also pays well, is extremely stimulating and has a wide variety of tasks.

I was very pleased with your notes and question bank. I especially like the mock exams because it helped to pull everything together.
