Folks. I'm new here and I did search about this topic but couldn't find much. I'm just wondering whether it's worth spending $$$ on a prep course? I already have all 2017 AnalystPro package. |

everyone studies differently. But by taking a class, you are investing more $$, and you force yourself to study. |

The CFA is meant to be a self study course. With that being said, it depends on whether you think you have the commitment to stick to a schedule, and the capacity to learn semi-complicated material without someone spelling it out to you. |

I actually avoided classes and bought analystpro package as well. Takes classes helps in a way that they motivate you to study and follow a proper routine. Plus the specialized help from an instructor is a plus. But know that in the end, its your own self study that matters. I find that when I dont think I have enough time to cover everything adequately, I avoid taking tuitions because my time is wasted when I still have to redo all the material on my own. Just giving you my two cents. It is your call at the end. |
