Mike,
I am a paid user of your great site. I've been reading through your notes over the past few days. Are you sure that they contain enough detail because i got the feeling that although you've tackled all the topics, there are certain areas which you barely mentioned and just 'flew through them'..... am i correct in saying so or do you feel that by knowing your notes thoroughly we should be more than covered for the May exam ?? Thanks for your time |

Hello Lucju:
The general criteria we use for our notes are: 1. cover all LOS for the current year without redundant information, repetitive explanation or discussions unrelated to the exam. 2. try to be twice as short as the recommended readings. 3. examples should be given for hard concepts, and provide several simple basic questions to get people started. Please understand that any notes cannot carry as much details as textbooks (otherwise, why buy notes?). If you read our notes, try basic questions and still cannot understand the stuff, I would suggest you read relevant portion of required textbook for detailed explanations. Knowing our notes is not enough: you need to work those basic and review questions (and our upcoming mock exams) and make sure you can get most of them right. Practice is everything! If you rank above 60% I am quite confident that you will pass the exam. Any insights, suggestions, please drop us some lines! Mike |
