I still haven't started my study for L1 yet. I just bought the printable notes for $29. At this moment i want to buy a few text books. Can you suggest 2 or 3 most recommended L1 text books in addition to the notes of CFACenter.
many thanks |

1) Fixed income-Fabozzi
2) Quant 3) Derivatives text The acctg text is good but the study notes covers the required material in sufficient depth. In addition, the acctg book is long and dry. Also don't forget the Ethics book. I assumed you already knew that one would be needed. The reason I'd go with Kolb is because of the material on Swaps and Futures and that helped me with 5-7 questions on the exam. The only book I'd not purchase for sure would be the econ book based on my experience with Level 1 last month. good luck. |

The Econ book is below even graduate level - it has more photos than text. sadly none of Janine Lindemuler though |

I am happy to say that I passed! Your study notes certainly helped prepare me for what was the most difficult exam I had ever taken.
