I was thinking about possibly making photocopies of all of the end of sections review out of the CFA provided texts and make an ultra portable study guide that I can read when I am on a train, in a car, or basically anywhere where bringing my pens, highlighters, notepads, and calculator would be weird/not acceptable.

It would also make great CFA-study-while-taking-a-dump-material.

Thoughts? I figure it would be around 70 pages which is not too bad if you do front and back...

rayco, I think it's a great idea and I might try it myself. I think it is vastly superior to taking your own handwritten notes which is a real time-sink and we all tend to get way too detailed.

That's a good idea. I started using the printable version of study notes from analystnotes.com, which is basically the same principle but with more detailed info & explanations - except costs....70 dollars. Handy to carry around, read on the way to work on train etc.

I passed! I did not get a chance to tell you before the exam - but your site was excellent. I will definitely take it next year for Level II.
