Hey Jaan - did you ever hear back from anyone regarding which of these to use?
Thanks!

Hi,

I am planning to sit for the December 2006 Level I CFA exam. I need guidance on what would be the best strategy in preparing for the exam in terms of study methodology, preparatory course provider, time required, etc. etc.

Thanks & Cheers!!!

Hi Terminator,

I am aiming for Dec'06 L1 exam. I have the same concerns as you. i have done a little research on this. I feel the best way to go about would be combination of CFA text books and Notes. Topics on which i feel i am weak i will go for text books for others material. I feel the best way would be solve as many questions as possible, so atleast one god question bank is a must. I have seen allen and analyst notes and question bank (only parts), both looks good. Analyst is much cheaper.

hope this helps you somewhat. Another important point, buy your calculator asap and work all the samples in the user guide, it is imp. to get hang of your calc.

Hello!I want to practice as many questions as possible for level II June 06 exams.besides analystnotes.com and the official ones provided by CFAinstitute ha anyone tested the other services? I currently use another material but my goal is to practice over 4,000 questions at least and participate in Mock exams.
Any comments please?
Many thanks

I am due to take the Level 1 exam in December and have bought the 4 books from the CFA plus flashcards and Audio CD's + analystnotes - what is the best plan for studying the curriculum to maximise me chances of passing first time?

Its 125 days to the exam , so 2hrs per day to get the 250 hrs in seems Ok (does it?) or do I need more time per day.

Any good advice would be apreciated.

Regards

Steve (Vancouver BC)
