Hi,

I have done to SS3 and scored well on the review questions (80%+ and in the 80+%ile)in all three sessions...however I have stopped studies for a month while I do another exam to get the CSI CIM designation...so my question is

Is it possible to read and review the CFA1 study notes and pass the exam within 4-6 weeks - note that I will do it full time (about 5hrs per day)

I had made my mind up to leave the exam until June 2011, however as I wont get a refund, I might just blast it out in 4-6 weeks (full time)...any thoughts/opinions would be gratefully accepted.

Regards

Steve

That is a hard question to answer, everyone is different. All I know is that I studied 400-500 hours for level 1 over 4 months in order to past this last time. I failed before mainly due to outdated materials (Stalla 2008 materials for the 2009 exam).

Good luck.

Don't even try starting to study now for the December Level 1 exam. Believe me.. it's pretty difficult. SS 1 to 3 is probably the easiest of the lot. The stuff remaining is much more difficult and more than anything else its requires LOTS OF TIME.

Good luck!
