I am working full time in a pretty demanding job in the city. I have no finance/accounting or economics background (only maths). Is it worth going for the June 16 exam? I'd prefer to do this as it will be a quicker route to completing the whole thing. What are your thoughts. Also do most people use schweser + analyst notes? |

It's possible canofcoke. I too (still am) working at a demanding job. I started studing for level 1 in October and passed in June. Looking back, I spent WAY too much time reading the CFAi text when I should have dedicated more time practicing questions. I would recommend you read the CFAi textbooks straight through like a novel and get the gist of what the text is communicating. Then use the last 2-3 months actualy studying analyst notes, practicing questions, and taking mock exams. This is my approach for Level 2 and I started studying only about a week ago. Goodluck to us both! |

It's possible but hard work Say it's 120 days and if you allow 280 hours study that's 2.3 hours/day You can always try going through the analystnotes stuff which is not so expensive and if you look like you are on track to pass pay the cfa their $ |
