Is anyone else pissed off that after spending $300 on Schwesser Study notes, they have the nerve to charge another $50 for "the secret sauce."
These cheap bastards should include the package for free.

The notes have hardly changed since last year. The weekly exam hints they send out are a joke. I feel like I got ripped off.

i did well, but i wasn't happy with them.

there were tons of mistakes, which i guess is to be expected, but the editor was a complete cow. i would email her my questions and for months she never responded. i had to send some nasty emails to the salesperson and a customer service rep before anyone did anything. at first the salesperson tried to blame me, saying maybe i wasn't good at independent studying. i ended up making a list of all the mistakes i found in their notes and questions, reminding him of what he told me when he sold me, telling him that the materials provided were not what was promised, and demanding my money back if she did not pull her finger out since the notes/software alone were not the quality that was promised at the time of sale.

well, that seemed to do the trick. salesperson was on side, and by that point i had the customer service rep on side too. i actually told them that i wanted a letter of apology from her, since she rude to the Nth degree, but that never materialized.

oh well.... they tried selling me on level 2 notes, and actually wanted to use something i said as a testamonial on their webpage. i reminded them of what happened, and told them that i wasn't interested. as far as i'm concerned, if an editor is not going to spend time doing her job as an editor properly, she should get used to doing some customer service.... the CFA is difficult enough without having to deal with incompetents like her.

fool me once, shame on you. fool me twice, shame on me.

doesn't matter how good (or bad) their notes are... after sales service blows huge.

Then called me 3 years in a row....really pushy people. Luckily i'm done, now I don't have to talk to their salespeople.

I kept saying no, they kept dropping the price. Quite funny actually.

yeah that's really funny! A fool would buy Schweser while he can use analystnotes and texbooks.

I thought Colonel Sanders is the only one who knows the true 'secret sauce'?

How did Schweser get it?

I used Schweser notes for the exam. Waste of time and my money if i knew this site earlier! Besides, Schweser notes missed some points that were important in the exam. To make things worse, so many errors and typos. Did anybody proofread these frickin Schweser notes?

Did you mean to say that you received the Schweser products at a reduced fee Tomas?

I would prefer Stalla or AnalystNotes to Schweser.

I am happy to say that I passed! Your study notes certainly helped prepare me for what was the most difficult exam I had ever taken.
