The way I look at the test with respect to skipping or being poorly prepared for a particular section is that it can be a costly strategy. Consider 55% or so of the candidates fail. Plus there is a high concentration of people between 50%-75%. You need to be on the upper side of the 50-75 group. This suggest to me that even getting 50% of a topic versus 25% would be helpful. When you throw out the low and high scores, I'm thinking the majority of the scores are in a tighter range than people think. 3-4% can move you past a lot of other people. |
