I want to know how everyone is doing, how far along are you, are you ahead-of/behind/on schedule. This would be a good opportunity for us to gauge our progress and motivate each other.

I just finished SS5, so I am 2/3 of the way through econ. I'm reading the CFAI books since they are much clearer than the Schweser notes for me and I can understand the concepts quicker.

My goal was to be done with Econ by Oct 1, so I doubt that I will hit that mark, but we’ll see!

I know that for me, seeing all of the results for the June 11 takers has really given me a burst of desire to bust my hump and PASS THIS THING!

I am new to this forum and found it very helpful. I am presently aiming for Dec 2012. I am done with Quant for now and moving on to Econ this week. Please let me know if am going at a steady pace. If i finish the all notes buy October ending, do you guys think the rest of the time will be sufficient for practice books, workbooks ,qbank and secret sauce? Thanks for helping me out, I appreciate it. I also found that analystnotes.com is very helpful, especially its global ranking system!

P.S - Any aspirants from Charlotte, NC aiming for the dec exam? We can conference during weekends.

I am also new to this forum, the dec exam is my first stab at the CFA exams… So far I have covered Ethics, Quant and Econ, Portfolio and Equity… and am part of the way through FRA now.

I am studying from AN (AnalystNotes)/CFAI and finding the AN basic questions a real help… I would recommend them to anyone who is thinking about buying study guides/notes.

So far I’m finding CFA to be very similar in material to undergrad degree (finance/accounting) but with the whole degree rolled into one exam…

How many hours is everyone studying each day/week at the moment?

I was very pleased with your notes and question bank. I especially like the mock exams because it helped to pull everything together.
