Just wondering what the status of everyone using this site is? Feel free to include/exclude information you deem necessary:
1. Current Job Status 2. Location 3. Salary 4. Age 5. Education/Work experience 6. How many times have you taken Level 1 7. What do you plan on doing with a CFA? 8. Other random thoughts.... I'll be the first to start things off: 1. Utility consultant for a Big Four accounting firm (use to be an auditor) 2. TX 3. $55k (no bonus) 4. 26 5. Finance/Econ for Undergrad; Masters in Accounting; CPA; 3 years of work experience 6. Signed up to take it for 1st time in June 2004 7. Not sure yet... just want to pass level one so I can get reimbursed for the fees and costs ($1000+) from my firm. |

Useful points, think I'll join in..... 1. Portfolio Manager for a large UK bank 2. Manage around £10 billion of assets 3. Based in London 4. Salary £60-70k + bonus 5. aged 29 6. Taken last summer, didn't get through - pretty unlucky I'd say! 7. Just want to pass this damn thing!!! |

1-Controller of a large real estate management & development Company, I also have my own accounting practice 2-Hoboken, NJ 3-Varies 4-27 5-Accounting degree from CMSU, Passed CPA exam 6-Plan to take in June 04 7-Looks nice next to CPA 8-Good luck to everybody on the upcoming exams. I hope that after I pass it, the cfa becomes even more popular, thus harder. the ethics part is quite fanatic. Imagine starting a job and handing out ethics leaflets on your first day... |
