| tbloemers @2017-02-19 08:56:15 | I'm writing the CFA level 1 in June and I was wondering if it makes a difference whether I study the books in order or not? Will information from the first volume be relevant to things I study in the other volumes? |
| anuj1978 @2017-02-20 15:30:57 | There is no proper study order, some people prefer to go in order others will make their own order by topic. There will always be a little bit of overlap, but it is minimal and should not affect your ability to study in a different order. If anything you'll likely get the concept explained to you twice - once for each section. |

Ideally one should cover financial statement analysis before going to equities and fixed income to get a better grip over balance sheets. Economics should be covered prior to everything else. Derivatives and ethics can be studied in any order. |
