Hi,
I was wondering if I would have enough time to study for the December level 1 exam, I haven't signed up yet and I believe the deadline is friday. I'm currently in my final year of a Bcomm in Economics & Finance.
Also how do you get the study materials? is it included when you register for a test?
Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated

Unless you are incredibly smart you should not try to prep for it now. I am a senior at Endicott College and it has taken me since June to read the material. I just finished reading about a week ago and now have to really work hard on practice questions. I also have a strong financial background, but there is no way I could do it in 3 months.

devlins,

Once you sign up, it will take a week or 2 to get the books. You will get the equivalent of 6 college-sized textbooks. You will be responsible for reading, digesting and internalizing all the information in there, enough to get a passing score. There are 18 study sections, where each one is like essentially a heavy sub-topic of its own.

I suggest you register now for the June exam and start studying, and you'll have a good chance of passing it in 6/2016. You'd probably be a 99 percentile kind of guy if you register today (late Oct) and pass it in Dec while still a senior in college. You might as well slam an 800 on the GMAT and go to Bschool.

Absolutely! I`m also a BCom Economics and Finance student in my final year and the CFA material is almost identical to that of our undergrad. It`s just revision, the stuff will be fresh and you should pass well if you`ve done well in your undergrad and prepped for CFA 1. Just make sure you get used to the CFA questioning style. Good luck!

I passed! I did not get a chance to tell you before the exam - but your site was excellent. I will definitely take it next year for Level II.
