Can anyone tell me how to use calculator to find YTM? eg if semi annual coupon is 5% has 10 yr maturity upon issue bond sells as 1025?How to find YTM ?The question is on page 44 volume 4 CFA Text book . Iknow I had to use the bond worksheet but I have been trying n its driving me nuts !Please help Thanks |

PV= -1025 FV=1000 N=20 pymt=5/2%*1000=2.5%*1000=25 find I assuming 1000 as par value of the bond If I am not wrong... |

Much easier to do it on a bond worksheet. It's quite simple and well written in manual |
